WORLD LARGEST SUPER COMPUTERS

A supercomputer is a computer hundreds of thousands of times more powerful than your computer. Countries with supercomputers have become superpowers in various fields. The United States owned the largest computer until 2012. China overtook the United States to become the superpower in supercomputers, producing the Tianhe-2 in 2013. Then in 2016, China developed another supercomputer called the Sunway TaihuLight. Then again in 2018, IBM developed the world's fastest supercomputer with 122.3 Petaflop / s speeds. Japan has 36 supercomputers after the US and China. The UK owns 22 supercomputers and Germany owns 18 supercomputers, dominating IT.

  1. Summit

The most powerful computer in the world by 2020. It delivers 143,5petaflops, cores 2,397,824 and 2,801,664 GB of RAM. It requires 9,783.00 kW of power to operate the computer. The project was funded by the US Department of Energy.

  2. Sunway Taihulight

The computer was made entirely by China using local raw materials to influence the United States. In response, the United States halted chip imports to China, where it produced 93 petaflops of speed and 10,649,600 cores, 1,310,720 GB of RAM. 15,371.00 kW of power is required to operate.Waxi is installed in the area.

  3. IBM Sierra

Installed at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, it is used by the National Nuclear Security Administration to make stock storage forecasting applications.ජවයකින් ක්‍රියාත්මකවේ.

  4. Tianhe 2

Installed at the National Supercomputer Center in China, it is the world's largest supercomputer from 2013-2016, delivering 61.4 petaflops of speed and 4,981,760, 2,277,376 GB of RAM. It uses 18,482.00 kW of power to operate.

5.AI Bridging Cloud Infrastructure (ABCI)

Installed at the University of Tokyo in Japan, it was manufactured in 2017. It has the lowest power consumption in the world, with 19.9 petaflops of speed, 391,680 cores and 417,792 GB of RAM.

6.Piz Daint

Europe's most powerful supercomputer, installed at the Swiss National Computer Center.
7.Titan
Created as an update to Jaguar's supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Titan is another design from Crore that ranks first among the fastest supercomputers in the world, with 17.6 petaflops of speed and 560,640, 710,144 GB of RAM. Powered by 8,209.00 kW.Produced by crey.

8.Sequoia
IBM was built by IBM for the National Nuclear Security Administration and installed at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. It has a speed of 17.2 petaflops and cores 1,572,864, 1,572,864 GB of RAM.

9.Trinity

Built in 2015, Cray built the Los Alamos National Laboratory under the auspices of the National Nuclear Defense Administration. 3,844 kW of power is required to operate the computer.

10.Cori

Cory, named after American biochemist Gertie Corey, the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, is based at the National Energy Research Scientific Computer Center (NERSC) in Berkeley Lab. It is also a Cray system and was created in 2016. It has a speed of 14 petaflops and a capacity of 622,336, 878,592 GB of RAM with 3,939 kW of power.
