Huawei has unveiled its latest folding device, which is significantly ahead of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. In many respects, the screen is 8 inches when folded and 6.45 inches on the front. It has two OLED screens that support 90hz refresh rate. The 8-inch interior screen is equipped with a "magnetically-controlled nano optical layer" of light reflection and brightness reduction technology, for example, if the Galaxy Z Fild 2 has a light reflectivity of 5% or more, the value is 1.5%. However, the lack of UTG glass can be described as a drawback. The other special feature is that when folded, there is no gap between the two columns like in the Galaxy Z 2 fold, and when folded Mate X 2, there is only a very thin gap between the two screens.
Looking at the camera system here, it features a quad camera setup, equipped with a 50mp wide lens, a 12MP telephoto lens, an 8mp periscope lens and a 16mp ultra wide lens. This camera system was created in collaboration with Leica. It has the ability to record video up to 4K and has a separate 16mp camera for selfies.
The 4,500mAh battery can be charged fast on the Huawei Super Charge 55w and is available in Black, White, Light Blue, and Rose Gold color ranges with side mounted fingerprint capability. Available in 256 GB - 8GB RAM, 512GB - 8GB RAM. The Mate X2 comes in two variants, both powered by a Huawei Kirin 9000-5nm, 5G chipset.
The device also includes the EMUI 11 version with Android 10, which by default does not include Google Services. The device will be available for purchase in China from February 25, with the 256GB version priced at $ 2780. And the 512GB version for $ 2940.
