The electronics industry expanded In the 1950s, American culture expanded exponentially with television, rock and roll, and car culture. The technology industry is also expanding. Due to the success of HP, various technology companies were established in the state of Santa Clara.

HP produces 524A high frequency counter. This type of signal measurement product will earn billions for HP.
1957
HP goes public, selling shares for $ 16.
The company is building its first HP-owned building at the Stanford Research Park. It is designed to enhance employee comfort and creativity.

HP produces its first "personal computer", the HP 9100A, a scientific calculator. Ads for the calculator use the term "personal computer".

Journalists used the term "Silicon Valley" to describe a group of emerging technology companies in the state of Santa Clara. HP technology makes accessible. The purpose of HP is to change all that.
1980
HP produces its first computer, the HP-85. It has intelligent terminals and can even communicate with other computers.
1983
Introducing the HP-150 touchscreen computer, which allows users to navigate the interface by touching the screen.
